libsigscan comes with Python-bindings named pysigscan.

Below are examples how use pysigscan. They assume you have a working version of pysigscan on your system. To build pysigscan see Building.

Import

To be able to use pysigscan in your Python scripts add the following import:

import pysigscan

Get version

The get_version() module function can be used to retrieve the version of the pysigscan.

pysigscan.get_version()

This will return a textual string (Unicode) that contains the libsigscan version. Since pysigscan is a wrapper around libsigscan it does not have a separate version.
