I use the board editor a lot, and find myself dragging pieces all the time. Keyboard shortcuts to select a particular piece would make my workflow much faster.
Also, the generic keyboard shortcut to flip the board (F) already works on the board editor. It would be great to add keyboard shortcuts for the other 2 main buttons (starting position, clear board).
My suggestions:
1–8 to select the white pieces (including the hand and the delete piece options)
Q–I to select the black pieces (including the hand and the delete piece options)
P for starting position (S is already taken for the generic search shortcut.)
C for clear board

@Carbrex Thanks for the link to the great video. It's useful in some cases but I still prefer the visual editor when importing a position from an OTB game for example.
