OK so this is a slight improvement on cburnett. It would be fine, except having as many sets as possible is not a goal, and I don't want to have similar sets.
Swapping cburnett for this is not possible because change can't be forced upon chess players without causing riots.

I understand, but please reconsider, this can be lichess signiature set, it is well balanced, small, easy to read, more consistent than cburnett.

Anyhow, i forgot to ask all this time, what is your favorite set or the one you tipically use?

We have tried to change defaults before. Unfortunately, players are too used to them. See #3318 with modified Mérida.

We can't have sets that are too similar and can't significantly modify already-published sets because people get used to them and get annoyed when they're changed.

For my part, I'm a longtime Mérida user but I've been using the excellent Fresca lately and like it a lot. I switch depending on the mood, some habits are hard to break. :) So I wouldn't fuss over the default too much - especially in the case of cburnett which is what the majority use and is already a fantastic set.
