We're considering it. I was wondering, why does the brick have a FIDE logo on it?

What's the licensing? Would this be ok? https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/

Could the pawns be maybe a little smaller?

The license is indeed CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 (it's included in the PR).

Here's the set with pawns 10% smaller (I simply scaled them down, but if the size is OK, I will have to adjust some lines' thickness):

About FIDE logo - it's basically a meme ("FIDE certified brick") within the Reddit community, who helped me to gather the ideas for the set. If the logo is problematic, I will try to redesign the rooks, but they will lose some of their charm:)

I guess if you know the meme it's probably obvious enough. But would be a lot easier to understand if the brick clearly looked like a brick. To me, it looks more like a box or maybe a small woodblock or rectangular board game piece. The small notch at the bottom left also doesn't really make it look like a brick.

Though also not sure what an easy way to make it look more like a brick would be. Maybe at least making the shape a bit more obvious? Tbh the top side looks quite a lot like it's supposed to be a square with perspective, unlike how a brick is supposed to be. Putting some holes or similar on the side seems like an obvious way to make it clear but ig that would make the logo side the small side which probably would look quite weird as well.

I made a new version (smaller pawns, improved bricks, optimized svg), let me know if I should update the PR.

I'm having second thoughts. I'm foreseeing kids in chess classes, selecting the attractive pink knight with cool glasses. Then the outraged emails from the teachers and parents. It's definitely going to happen, a lot.

We could hide the set from kid accounts, but many kids and teachers don't use them. They will still come at us angrily about letting children play with sex toys.

Maybe a bishop pear could be a safer alternative. I hate to be that guy watering down this fun set, but I'm the one answering the parent emails.

Not a bad idea, I will try the bishop pear, to keep it PG.

The pawns/cones feel slightly too small, but I suppose it's a bit too late for that now. At least in this PR.

The brick looks like a battery to me, should be adjusted a bit imo

The rooks still look like 9v batteries
