Apparent regression, similar problem to #128 , just broke in the last few commits

Attempting to load certain models fail:

toy_car.usdz	Visit function returned an error for Prim /toy_car/toy_car_realistic_lod0 (id 15) (file: src/tydra/scene-access.cc, line: 305)
fender_stratocaster.usdz	Visit function returned an error for Prim /fender_stratocaster/StratocasterStand (id 80) (file: src/tydra/scene-access.cc, line: 305)

This is a regression for commit bdc5574, worked as of b70dba2 -- recent changes (re-)broke these models
