When the panel is moved to the top of the screen and autohide is enabled the panel still moves down to try and hide itself instead of moving upwards. This then means that it cant be unhidden. Also when the window list 'rectangle things' (sorry cant think of the right name!) are 'mouse-overed' the tooltips are still displayed at the bottom instead of at the top when the panel is moved to the top of the screen.

Using Cinnamon and extensions/settings from git, Arch Linux x86_64

The items on the panel appear slightly before the grey part of the panel.

OK, the problem with this is that the the autohide works differently at the bottom and at the top.

At the bottom it moves the "y" coordinate of the menu down...
At the top it changes the "height" of the panel to 1...

The solution for this is to make the top autohide work in a similar manner as the bottom one.

Not sure if I should open a new issue for this or not. When the panel is at the top & auto hide is on it visually disappears ok but if you have a window at the top of the screen (maximized say) you cant grab the window decoration to move it with the mouse, its as if the panel is still there preventing the mouse grabbing the window. There is no other sign of any interaction with the panel though (eg. tooltips showing when trying to grab window decoration) so I'm not sure if this is related to the original issue or if it a new issue entirely.

Confirmed. Please open a new issue for this though.

Note: That happens on the bottom panel too. Funnily enough, it doesn't seem to happen if autohide is implemented by changing the height of the panel as opposed to its y coordinate....
