 * Cinnamon version (cinnamon --version): 5.6.5 - default install
 * Distribution - Mint 21.1
 * Graphics hardware *and* driver used: irrelevant?
 * 64 bit
 * Attach ~/.xsession-errors, or /var/log/syslog: unrelated?

Issue

While the default menu shortcuts of "Super Left" and "Super Right" are enabled, it's necessary to press Super+Space+Space to activate the Kupfer shortcut configured as "Super+Space". That seems to be a known issue by the Kupfer developer, see kupferlauncher/kupfer#166

Steps to reproduce

  • Install Kupfer via apt (v320)
  • configure the short cut via its Preferences > Keyboard > Global Keyboard Shortcuts
  • try to activate it while you have the Cinnamon Menu applet on a panel

Expected behaviour

No interference with external global shortcuts

Other information

kupfer v320 installed via apt
