Image Search Engine

This is a simple image search application that allows you to search for images based on keywords. It provides a functional approach for writing components. The application utilizes the Pixabay public image search service for making HTTP requests.

Features

• Fetches images from the Pixabay API and displays them in a gallery.
• Shows a loader while images are being loaded.
• Opens a modal with a larger version of the image when clicked.

Installation

To run this application locally on your computer, you need to have TypeScript installed globally.

1. Clone this repository: git clone https://github.com/lisitsyna-anna/image-search-engine
2. Change into the project directory: cd image-search-engine
3. Install the dependencies: npm install
4. Start the development server: npm start
5. Open your browser and visit http://localhost:3000 to view the application.
