Incorrect selection location with invalid utf-8

The replay system for wargame 3 generates a .wargamepl2 replay file, we usually open this with any text editor so we can extract deck information.

While liteXL opens the file fine, copying content out seems to not work properly, as if its offset

The following is what pastes when I copy the selected region in the image in LiteXL.

seems to be offset by 8 characters
