Certain Regions cause Chunky to pull up Several error windows #301
Comments
Hi, can you please try with the latest Chunky version (1.3.4) and see if it works better? If not please let me know which version of Minecraft the world was created with, and if possible it would be really helpful if you can provide a download link for the world so I can try this myself! |
Alright... I tried 1.3.4. It did the same thing in the same region. How would I go about sending this to you? |
@OrangeAngryBird If you can upload your file using Dropbox and send me the download link it would be great! Then I could see exactly what causes the crash! It seems as if the chunks are corrupt, but it might be that Chunky is incompatible with your world. Can you load the world in singleplayer Minecraft and go to the regions that don't load in Chunky? |
Unfortunately I do not have a Dropbox account. What other ways can I get this file to you? Also I did load the world and walked to those chunks. They are perfectly normal in-game and I can do whatever I please within them. |
How large is your world? If it is just a few megs you could email a Zip to me: jesper-at-llbit-dot-se. If that does not work we can try connecting on Skype. |
Closing this due to inactivity. A recent related issue was posted here #348 |
In the map view, one of the regions in one of my larger maps fails to load correctly. It shows red X's over a red background for each chunk and pulls up to perhaps 100 or more non-closable error windows that read "Failed to read chunk: Negative seek offset". I have traveled into these chunks in the game. They load correctly and I can walk and build on them without any problems. Could I have some help with this?
