Delete Pages #10
Comments
Yes, it's not supported yet, will add "Delete page" first, so you can click it to delete the page. |
Thanks! We've added auto page deletion in a recent update. |
I still experiencing this. I have a "phantom page" which does not correspond to a md file. I have deleted all links to that page, restarted Logseq and refreshed, but it is still there when searching for pages / blocks. |
I am also experiencing ghost pages. I'm on update 0.3.7 right now. After deleting a page with the "delete page" button, I can still see it in the recents list, and I can find it if I search it. When I click it, I can open it again, so it seems that it was never deleted. I would like to add that it would be useful to have a way to delete all empty and unliked pages. Sometimes I open LogSeq and a new daily page is created automatically, but I don't write anything on it. I did this many times so now I have many empty daily pages that I don't want. |
If others can confirm this, I would like to re-open this issue! |
I agree, it would be nice to purge empty pages. Ideally some review dialog with checkboxes |
I can confirm this. Motioning to re-open the issue. |
The future is added in version 4.0.5 in the all pages section there is a "remove orphaned pages" option Edit: I don't think it's available yet in the release. The pull request have been merged you can find it here: #2976 |
I still would prefer it if those daily pages are not created when I didn't
write anything though. When scrolling back down to see my previous daily
pages, I have to go through a long list of empty ones, which is not nice.

I am on 0.5.8, I still experience these issues. And after clicking "Remove orphaned pages" I get the notification that pages got removed successfully, but pages are still there. |
I am also experiencing the same issue on version 0.6.2. I think this should be a priority. After deleting the pages I continue to see them in logseq. |
I am also experiencing this issue. I trying to delete some pages, but they come back later. Refresh and reindex does not help. Looks like the problems rise than there are special characters in heading |
Same here—after manually deleting MD files which contained "(word)" the pages remained. Not sure if it's due to the parenthesis in the title. |
0.6.5 this problem still exists when trying to delete an orphan page with a slash "/" in the title or after renaming the original title. |
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
When creating a link in a block of text using the [[ ]] it will create a page. When i then delete this [[link]] the page still exists and there does not seem to be a way to delete it.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to be able to remove the page with the no longer existing [[link]]
Tried going into the page and deleting its contents but the page still remains there.
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
