I'm going to attempt this as a side project over in this repo. I'm a little loaded project wise up at the moment, so the progress might be slow, but let's see what happens. It shouldn't take too much to make this work.

Sounds awesome, I'll be keeping my eye on this. I'll want to be one of the
first to have this functionality.

This is out of scope for the Lightbox script but perfect for others to fork and build.
