Welcome! This guide will guide you through setting up Sunshine on Windows and configure Moonlight to work with it.
You can download the latest version of Sunshine from GitHub releases: https://github.com/loki-47-6F-64/sunshine/releases/latest. For Windows you have to download Sunshine-Windows.zip and extract it somewhere safe, where you won't move it or delete it by accident.
- Open the installation folder and launch
sunshine.exe. After some initial setup, Sunshine will tell ou it's ready to be configured:
Info: Open the Web UI to set your new username and password and getting started
Info: Configuration UI available at [https://localhost:47990]
- Open-up your web browser and go to https://localhost:47990/, ignore your web browser's security warning (the connection is still secured, but it can't be certified)
- Configure a password and optional username for the administration UI and submit Your browser will now ask you for the new credentials
- Open Moonlight and add your computer like normal. Sunshine will also broadcast its address to Moonlight clients.
- Start pairing with your computer inside Moonlight and note the given PIN
- Go back to Sunshine's web UI and go to the "PIN" page: https://localhost:47990/pin
- Enter the PIN given by Moonlight then click "Send"
If everything went smoothly, Moonlight should now be paired with Sunshine and ready to stream!
Now you're ready to stream with Moonlight and Sunshine! Start streaming the built-in Desktop app to connect to your PC, then start your games and applications like normal!
