I totally understand the desire for features similar to "Best Before". This is a side project for me, so adding new features takes a fair bit of time from development to testing.

Despite the time constraints, I'm committed to improving the app and your suggestion is definitely on my radar.

By the way, the project is open-source. If you or someone you know is interested in contributing, that would be a huge help. More contributors can definitely speed up the process of rolling out new features.

Sorry, but I'm a web developer not Android anyway this app is going to be very much popular according to my experience, I've talked to many app developers who has over 1k+ stars on the repo, So I'm telling you btw I appreciate your work and I'm thinking to start learning kotlin and Java please can you give a little guide with resources
