Otraku v.1.2.7+2
Note: Since user name/avatar are saved on login now, you will need to authenticate again.
New:
- Collection searching goes through not only titles, but notes too - thanks @dlsf (#116)
- Activity replies have a "Reply" button that opens the message sheet and automatically inserts a mention of the target user - thanks @dlsf (#118 )
- Tapping on markdown images opens them as a popup
- Tapping on user mentions is not handled as a link, but directly opens the user page
- Tapping on a ranking in a media's statistics page redirects to the discover tab with the appropriate filters (e.g. highest rated anime from summer 2012)
- Partial deep linking (*) - currently supported links are anime, manga, character, staff, studio, review, user, activity
- List status on related media tiles in the media page
Improved:
- Images in markdown get cached too
Fixed:
- HTML rendering of descriptions in the media page - thanks @nstrelow (#113)
- Wrong pie chart labels in user statistics
- Incorrectly displayed dates for media, whose release dates are not fully known
- Text centering in bar charts
- Not applying some AniList setting changes
* Deep linking: on android you need to open Settings -> Apps -> Otraku -> Defaults and toggle "Open supported links", then open the "Supported web addresses" page and enable "anilist.co". On iOS it appears that deep linking will be impossible for me, as I'm not allowed to handle foreign HTTP addresses.

Otraku v.1.2.6+1
Added:
- Calendar: At the top of the discover tab there is a button that opens the calendar page. You can view the release schedule for different dates and apply filters. NOTE: These filters are cached by the app. With the help of @XanderV2001
Improved:
- Pure white/black backgrounds: Before, the "Pure Theme" option only made the dark themes' backgrounds black. Now it also makes the light themes' backgrounds white.
Fixed:
- The "Following" section of the media pages loading eagerly, instead of lazily.
- Other bug fixes and visual improvements.
Otraku v.1.2.5
EDIT: (IMPORTANT) The signing key was changed in this release. Unless you've installed the app from google play, you cannot just update the app, you will need to reinstall it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
- Added external links in the media pages (thanks @crxssed7)
- Adaptive notification icon color for newer versions of android
- Added copy/open link buttons in character/staff/studio pages
- The search bar is now always visible in collections/discover
- Filters in discover persist when you switch between different discover options (anime, manga, e.t.c.)
- Changed padding and UI elements throughout the app: segmented buttons, user page buttons, bottom bars, settings, e.t.c.
- Fixed padding on some sheets
Otraku v.1.2.6
- Calendar: At the top of the discover tab, while browsing for anime, there is a button that opens the calendar page. From there, you can view the release schedule for different dates, as well as filter by which anime are of that date's season and whether they are in your lists.
- Pure white/black backgrounds: Before, the "Pure Theme" option only made the dark themes' backgrounds black. Now it also makes the light themes' backgrounds white.
- Fixed the "Following" section of the media pages loading eagerly, instead of lazily.
- Other bug fixes and visual improvements.
Otraku v.1.2.4+1
Administrative [important]:
- Dropped support for android 7.1 and below
- From now on, updates will be released immediately on github, alongside the google play releases for closed-beta testers. So expect each new update on github to be untested. I will initially mark it as pre-release, but if I end up pushing the same version to the rest of the users, I will unmark it.
New:
- Followed people on the media page. You can see their status, score and notes
- Support for material 3 icons on android 13 (thanks @KaloyanStoyanov06)
- In the filter of the main activity feed, you can explicitly select whether you want your activities to be shown
Improved:
- Better functioning/looking headers in the media, user and review pages
- Tabs on the media page are now controlled by a tab bar, because there will be more in the future and that simplifies controls
- New buttons above user bio
- Transparency also covers the device's status and navigation bar
- Better looking bottom navigation bar
- Dialog text in entry notes and media descriptions are selectable
- Renamed

Fixed:

- Pinned activity duplication on a person's activities page
- Weird background color when expanding small images
