Also looks like I might not have taken arm64/aarch64 into account properly.

Checked also Ubuntu 20.04 for Linux aarch64.. The eups build will fail due to missing conda packages for Linux aarch64.

Linux aarch64 fails
source loadLSST.bash Could not find conda environment: lsst-scipipe- You can list all discoverable environments withconda info --envs.

Interesting. Did you provide any arguments to lsstinstall? What did lsstinstall say after "Selected rubin-env="? Nothing?

My problem was caused by curl crashing with SEGV in a docker ubuntu container on Apple M1 HW. Problem gone when using Centos8, so not a problem of lsstinstall.
