The Site Acronym field found at http://yoursite.com/eml_config is limited to 3 
characters.  While this suits LTER sites, not all sites are limited to a 3 
letter acronym.  

I'm not sure what the correct length is but substantially longer might be 
better.

In the meantime, here is how to change the length:

1) Open eml_config/eml_config_form.inc
2) At line 28 increase the value of size and maxlength variables.
