Hello, my name is Luã Reis.

I am a curious and passionate molecular biologist specialist in neuroscience, toxicology and in vitro models.

I got my Ph.D. in molecular biology and biochemistry at the Federal University of Bahia (Brazil) and did postdoctoral research at Karolinska Institutet (Sweden). My research is focused on cell biology and in vitro models. I have been working for more than 12 years with different types of cell culture models such as bacteria, cancer cell lines, neural stem cells, and iPSC. I have developed models for toxicology in neuroscience and hypothalamic neurons derived from iPSC.

I am a math enthusiast, trying to approach biological problems through a mathematical lens. Here, I showcase a compilation of R programming codes that I have used in my statistical analysis.
