This is a core part of WatchSumo, a website uptime and performance monitoring service. This code is responsible for checking the uptime and SSL certificates of websites. Since it was first built, over 10 billion checks have been performed, so this code is pretty well battled tested.

In human terms that means:
- You can freely use this project for personal use
- You can make and redistribute changes to this project (they must be under the same license, and include our copyright notice and attribution)
- You cannot use this project commercially
In this context, commerically means selling the source code or selling a tool or service which uses this (such as a competiting website monitoring service). You can use this internally at your company to monitor your own websites, and integrate it into your own monitoring system, but you cannot sell that to others (which includes agencies).
