git init - Create a new repo git status - View the changes to your project code git add - Add files to staging area git commit - Creates a new commit with files from staging area -a You can use this when all files are only modified files, it adds them automatically without having to use git add and you can even do -a -m or the shorter version -am to provide a message for the commit.
