Tool to hide desktop entries. Does not work for Flatpaks.
pip install fuzzywuzzy
Run the script and search for desktop entries in /usr/share/applications/. It will duplicate the matching entries in /home/%USER/.local/share/applications and append 'NoDisplay=true'.
