what would be the expectation for the updevdao.lyx to be listed as the owner and maintainer? could we create branches with different features and build educational content around onboarding developers using this starter? I realize I havent really contributed much to it yet other than some minor bug/issues and a video explaining the code structure....

I will next make a video using this starter to make a course landing page called speedrun-lukso

Hey @tantodefi. I'm glad you want to build and improve this repo. Having a separate branch or even forking it and merging the latest changes would make sense.

Right now, it's maintained by the team only. The idea was to act as a generic "boilerplate" for devs to start immediately. It is the same as the lukso-playground with ready-to-go scripts and contracts for dApp and SC devs.

But getting the community involved would make sense, as seen with scaffold-eth. The only concern is that features get too specific at some point- so a proper CONTRIBUTING.md would come first in both repos. I will check back with the team. 👍🏻

I've added a CONTRIBUTING file within #40.

So far, we will only maintain one branch to be pushed against (main), but that might change depending on the incoming community PRs.

If you plan on doing educational content and bringing new general features as described in #40, please first start within your fork and create a new branch there. You can then open a PR, and we can set up a new branch once more considerable contributions are coming in. We might add a contributor list as seen in lsp-smart-contracts once we've passed a handful of maintainers/contributors.

Official LUKSO repositories won't feature any funding lists or addresses. Therefore, I will close this PR. However, you might add such things to your/the community's pages and hubs- and link to them once the contributors are integrated.

For further discussions, bugs, or feature requests, don't hesitate to open a regular issue. 🙏🏻
