PyDownload is a Python app that downloads files from download links from your desktop without needing a browser.
For Windows you will need to download the .exe file in the releases tab.
For Mac you will need to download the python file by clicking on the "Code" button and then downloading ZIP .app file will be released soon.
BEWARE: THE WWW PART HAS TO BE REPLACED WITH DL
