io.lines

The compatibility implementation of io.lines accepts format specifiers like io.read, but it on Lua 5.1 it lacks the "*L" specifier that Lua 5.2 and Lua 5.3 have. Lua 5.3 also makes the leading asterisk (*) optional. This is not supported by the compatibility implementation.
