Review open tickets and pull request in the original repo

The tickets probably represent real problems and some the PRs might be useful.

I've gone through the isses and categorized them with regards to their relevance to us. If you agree, I'll open issues in our tracker for those relevant to us, so that we know what we should fix immediately as people are already affected by it.

I think proper Puppet 3 support is the most pressing issue.

• Puppet 3 keywords puppetlabs/puppet-syntax-emacs#4, (partly?) fixes Update font lock keywords #8
• type names in variables throw off consistency puppetlabs/puppet-syntax-emacs#7
• Fix order of syntax highlighting puppetlabs/puppet-syntax-emacs#8

Feature requests

• Verify the syntactical correctness of a manifest puppetlabs/puppet-syntax-emacs#6 (nice to have imho)

Already solved

• ELPA package format puppetlabs/puppet-syntax-emacs#1
• melpa versoin of this mode does not associate itself to *.pp files automatically puppetlabs/puppet-syntax-emacs#9

Wont fix?

• flymake support puppetlabs/puppet-syntax-emacs#2 (I don't think that we should support Flymake out of the box, and leave it to interested 3rd parties, but I am obviously biased :) )
