menu-cached hangs @ shutdown or reboot #11
Comments
I am experiencing the same issue. I am wondering if the cause is lxqt-panel or menu-cached. See: #1311 lxqt-panel: reboot takes a long time |
Additional - same behaviour in LXDE, so i would guess that it is not our panel: #17 |
I have the same problem on Debian 9 (stretch) w/ LXQt.

We believe that the issue you reported is fixed in the latest version of menu-cache. |
Easy to find with systemd and KillUserProcesses=Yes:
-- systemctl enable debug-shell
-- systemctl start debug-shell
-- issue a reboot or shutdown on a long enough running system
-- switch to VT9
-- pgrep -a -u $user
-- kill menu-cache, the shutdown or reboot will continue immediately
