If anyone with the project uses Debian and is a developer, could they please look at this Debian Forum thread (which I started)? Debian's task-lxqt-desktop meta-package also installed (what I call) a minimal Plasma desktop (X11-only) along with numerous KDE-related packages. For the past week or so, there have been numerous packages unable to be updated (held back by apt), because other packages have not been updated. So far, I have been unable to learn why the meta-package also installed Plasma and whether that was even necessary. I would also like to know if there is a SAFE way to remove (at this point) both LXQt and Plasma, without breaking the system. Thank you. |
