Update Async peerdependencies

Hi,
I want to install Kue in my project but i used async in version 1.2.1. But, Kue needs async in version 0.9.0 and i have an error on install (if I downgrade my async version, it works fine). It's possible to migrate Kue to async 1.2 ?

npm ERR! peerinvalid The package async does not satisfy its siblings' peerDependencies requirements!
npm ERR! peerinvalid Peer kue-scheduler@0.2.0 wants async@^0.9.0
