It'd be nice if you can just click to activate, instead of click and choose from a menu. If you want to select then sure, hold down the button. But just clicking would be really nice. The menu irks me because I'm doing the same thing every time.

I would recommend to use a shortcut in this case. With Alt+Shift+X you can quickly toggle the debug state.
