MIT Licensing a port of an AGPL project? #1

I'm no lawyer, but this port seems to fall under the "work based on the Program" clauses of the AGPL, meaning it must be licensed AGPL due to being based on asciimoo's drawille.

Maybe the wording is confusing. Technically, it's not a port, it's a new implementation for the same problem, with similar API.
