I have a suggestion regarding game creation (before the game starts).
It would be better in my opinion that the host is able to increase or decrease the number of players allowed in the game without the need to recreate the game. (when creating an FFA game or another type that does not have a fixed player number). If this is added then the host will also be able to kick unwanted players if needed (by closing the player slot that player is in).

Another suggestion on the same topic would be when joining a game which requires you to select a deck (constructed) that instead of making you pick the deck before joining, make so you simply select the deck AFTER joining. It would be a box next to your name where your able to pick the deck. The name of the deck you picked could be visable to other players. Why this is better is because sometimes you take a bit of time to pick your deck and by the time you are done another player took your spot.

Of course this brings up other issues but can easily be solved with each player in the game must be ready by pressing a "ready" button when in the game. A green/red button next to the players name will show if the player is ready or not.
Also regarding the issue with banned/restricted cards depending on the game's settings could simply be solved when a player is trying to pick a deck that has one or more illigal cards for the format the game is set to the player would get an error message and the deck is not picked.
