Pipe line repository

If it is not already possible and I just don't know how it would be really handy to be able to refer to a "pipeline repository". In case there are a number of upstream jobs available in a pipe line where job 3 (pipeline index) depends on artifacts in job 1. As it works today this does not seem possible although the "Chain" seems to hint at such behaviour.
