This is an attempt to write a more discursive introduction to Biblatex than the official manual provides. It has reached the stage of final cleanup and indexing.

The files include makefiles in both the main and the /examples directories which will generate the (many) required files. Nothing else is required beyond an up-to-date LaTeX distribution.
