Support of rspamd as spamassassing alternative #563
Comments
I don't have nearly enough time to support two versions of Mail-in-a-Box. If you want to propose swapping out SA for an alternative that works better, that's something to consider. |
Well, I'd be really happy about this but I think we also need to consider user's demands. For now, there are advantages and disadvantages of migration to rspamd from SA. The major disadvantage is that SA is more mature and thus more stable than rspamd. However, the quality of filtering is almost the same, whilst rspamd is much faster, has internal webui and has better postfix integration via rmilter. BTW, what's the best place to discuss such a possibility with your team? |
Here is fine. |

The rsmapd works much faster than SA and doesn't have a dependency to Perl. For the self hosting on cheap servers or small devices like Raspberry Pi this is a much better solution. |
The MailCow uses the rspamd https://docs.mailcow.email/#overview |
Hello, I was looking for a sollution of email out-of-the box that I could suggest to a couple of rspamd users. It seems that your project is a splendid sollution for them. Hence, I'd like to ask what do you think about having the alternative image with rmilter + rspamd instead of SA analogues?
