This API is now part of WhatWG HTML spec. It has been implemented in Chrome since version 46 and is expected to be in Firefox from version 46.
This repository hosts the early draft spec for scroll restoration API which aims to make it possible for web authors to disable the automatic scroll restoration in their web apps. This draft is now out-dated and superseded by the official spec .
