How to install from Hacs? #1
Comments
You don't need to build from source, but you do need to manually add the repository as a custom repository (from the top right menu in HACS), as this has not been submitted to HACS officially yet. If you have only Goldair devices, you would be best using the upstream nikrolls/homeassistant-goldair-climate integration, which has been submitted to HACS. Currently this integration only adds support for Kogan heaters like this https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-smarterhome-1500w-smart-panel-heater/ and Kogan SmartPlugs like this https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-smarterhome-smart-plug-with-energy-meter-pack-of-4-kogan/ compared with that integration, and I want to generalize it some more before submitting to HACS so it can easily support more devices. |
Documentation has been updated. Now updated to link to current correct page in HACS docs. |

I never used Hacs before, so i'm a little bit disoriented. I figured i'd have to download tuya-local from the "Add repository" menu in Hacs, but I can't find it.
Do I need to build the integration myself from source until this is sorted out?
Edit: looking at the repo i figured I don't need to build anything, just to copy tuya-local/custom-components/tuya_local to the right homeassistant directory.
