Is pico-wizard supposed to run after you flash an image to the eMMC and reboot? #71

I just flashed Manjaro-ARM-plasma-mobile-pinephonepro-beta15-rc4.img to the eMMC of my brand new PinePhone Pro Explorer and when I booted it the pico-wizard did not start, instead I landed on the home screen as user pico-wizard. Also pico-wizard did not run from the command line when I tried that even with sudo. It had MANY errors!

Also there was an error during boot:

OF: graph: no port node found in /i2c@ff3d0000/typec-portcc@22
bootsplash: Failed to initialize.

That was followed by other logging lines that did not seem like errors.

Don't know whether these are related.

So now I'm stuck as user pico-wizard (with the default password) which does not show up in the user settings and so cannot be modified that way.

I think this is related: I was unable to shut down the system using the UI. It insisted on restarting unprompted so I had to remove the battery to shut down.

Yes, Manjaro-ARM-plasma-mobile-pinephonepro-beta15-rc4.img has some problem in pico-wizard. I think, this error is related to some python module. But rc3 is ok ,but outdated. Try rc3 if you want properly setup your device.

Thank you! I will try rc3.
