seems not to be possible right now out of the box and is probably not a very important topic. I played around with creating a custom module for this, but as soon as you want the module to update when a configured hotkey is being pressed, you will land with an IPC solution like in the official sway/language module. So I'd prefer to add a "exec-if"-like condition there.

The upstream sway/language module has no exec-if, but I think that would be the easiest way to go. So if sb knows enough C to do this (or can point me into a direction), I'd be super happy.
