Chaptered Emporium is a library which needs a need management system for its database. Here is a new management system designed to help you manage your bookstore efficiently. Keep track of books, authors, customers, orders, publishers, genres, and more with ease!
✨ Book Management: Add, update, and remove books from your inventory. Keep track of ISBN, title, author, publisher, price, quantity, and more.
👩🎨 Author Management: Manage authors and their information, including name, books published, and origin country.
📦 Order Management: Track orders placed by customers, including details like order ID, ISBN, genre, customer ID, month, year, quantity, and payment method.
👥 Customer Management: Manage customer information, including name, email, phone number, address, membership status, total issues, total renews, student status, currently issued books, and age.
📖 Publisher Management: Keep track of publishers and their information, such as name, total publication, and total books available.
📚 Genre Management: Manage genres and their information, including name, total issues, total revenues, total books, total authors, and total publishers.
- Clone the repository to your local machine.
- Ensure you have a compatible database management system installed (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Create a new database schema named
chaptered_emporium. - Import the provided SQL schema file to create the necessary tables and relationships.
- Customize the application according to your specific requirements.
- Start the application by running the main script.
- Access the application through your web browser or API endpoints.
