This project mainly focuses on text detection and extraction in an image using python. This project is based on colour decrease and edge detection technique as well as localisation of belongings. Here OpenCV and OCR are used along with the tesseract engine. Here the input is taken either by "inserting the path of the image" in the code or by using the function called "Video Capture", that will enable users camera and will capture the file or whatever that has letters in it and recognizes them. So user has to select the particular technique which is best suitable for the situaion.
