In my dot map it looks like data that has been buffered beyond the edges of tiles is being drawn both from the tile that it really belongs to and also as buffered from the next tile over, causing banding at tile boundaries.

I would have expected each tile to be drawn with a clipping region set to its boundaries so that there wouldn't be duplication from buffered data in adjacent tiles.
