mapbox-gl-js version: Latest in mapbox studio

browser: Chrome 77 stable

Steps to Trigger Behavior

  1. Add a symbol layer to the map
  2. Assign a long CJK value to text-field
  3. Zoom

There is 2 line, a long one and a short one below.

And i think symbols missing is not what i want:
