@lyzidiamond @geografa it might make sense to update portions of the post to point people in the direction of the http://maptime.io/start. I'm not sure anyone would be able to find it from within the site.

@rhewitt22 @geografa I started a chat about this in Slack, but having instructions on adding yourself to the website BEFORE the rest of the onboarding stuff is going to change the way that @almccon and @bethschechter and I do onboarding. Maybe we see about adding some of that stuff to the /chapters/start page first?

@lyzidiamond I'm happy to hold on this if there is concern about onboarding so let's post what these concerns are. All chapters need an designated admin? Must have Twitter acct? Must have X number of meetings? This is a good convo to have before pushing this live 👍

I'm trying to catchup on this thread, but don't have much bandwidth for the next day or two. @lyzidiamond you just propose that we move the parts about adding your chapter to the map, and only have that information in http://maptime.io/chapters/start/ instead of in the new site post? That's fine with me.

Or, the other option is to leave the new site post mostly as is, but include more links to http://maptime.io/chapters/start/ and to emphasize that you should email hello@maptime.io before you add yourself to the map?
