The scripts are associated with the publication 'Accelerating flux balance calculations in genome-scale metabolic models by localizing the applicaitons of loopless constraints' by Chan SHJ, Wang L, Dash S and Maranas CD (2017). (preprint available at: https://arxiv.org/abs/1711.04084)

Functions in the folder 'scripts for testing' are for comparing the presented method with previous methods. Functions in the folder 'scripts for COBRA' are for the more general implementation in the COBRA toolbox. Please see the readme files in the folders and the documentations in the functions.
