How to reset to normal mode

If you'd had enough of GaleForce, you can return your device to factory settings with the following:

  1. Press the reset button in the Google Wifi device until it long blinks orange (there's an 8 second period where the orange blinks are clearly shorter.
  2. Insert the recovery USB installer you've created as per the instructions
  3. Wait around 5 to 8 minutes, and your Google Wifi will be back to normal mode, with all data reset.
