Improve code in any way

This is an open invitation to everyone to improve the code in any way.

@pydanny and I are relatively new to Next.js and React and still learning best practices, so I'm sure there are things that could be refactored or improved for better maintainability.

Tiny, atomic PRs make it easiest for us to understand code changes and would be so greatly appreciated.
