Apparently some players do return data for the MusicBrainz ID hashes under the following tags:

xesam:musicBrainzTrackID
xesam:musicBrainzArtistID
xesam:musicBrainzAlbumID
xesam:musicBrainzAlbumArtistID

Tested with Rhythmbox.
