When highlighting content, a user would be able to (let's say) convert H1 -> H2
This makes it more efficient and faster to edit markdown files

Do you want to set all of the selected text to H2, or only the parts that are already H1?
Sorry, something went wrong.
It should change all highlighted parts regardless of what type of line it is.
Is this different from the current effect of the menu item for header levels?
The front menu is only for one paragraph. Is there any other interaction possible to change the heading level of multiple paragraphs at the same time?
