Encoding on networked slaves? #373
Comments
If someone does do this, I think it would make a let of sense to use zerotier for the authentication/authorization and NAT traversal. Would make it a lot easier for random people on the internet to collaborate on encoding projects if they didn't have to worry about NAT or anything. |
+1, ZeroTier would likely make things much easier since you only have to code it like a LAN program, and ZeroTier can be used for clients outside the local network. |
Any update on this ? |
this would be a great adition |
Hi, I just came across this, great work!!
Did you think about adding support for encoding on networked slaves?
Encoding on one docker container takes a long time, it would speed up things a lot if we were able to add more containers/pods to the cpu pool :)
