Currently, a lot of accounts are being hacked thanks to the massive amount of leaked passwords. Some spammers are using this to edit the profile of accounts and add a link to spam websites, often some sexual scam site.
It would be nice for admins and moderators to be able to, when suspending the account, to delete some content, like the profile links, the bio, and more.
Maybe having an option to delete the profile's content without removing the account would be nice too, or be able to hide such content when disabling the account. Putting the account in the shadow of the internet, without deleting it. Like that, if some people who didn't log in for a long time realize what happened, they can still get there account back.
Motivation
Better and more granular control when moderating makes for more justice and adapted response. It's better for the mods, better for the users, and better for the fediverse.
Thank for reading.
